Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 3.1 of Chapter 3 of Title 53.1 a section numbered 53.1-95.25 as follows:

§ 53.1-95.25. Sovereign immunity.

Any authority created pursuant to § 53.1-95.2 shall enjoy the protection of the Commonwealth's sovereign immunity in the performance of its government functions as allowed by Chapter 3 of (§53.1-68 et seq.).
