SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Practitioner-owned distributorships. Prohibits a practitioner from using a medical device in the provision of services to a patient if the medical device was supplied directly or indirectly by a medical device distributor in which the practitioner or an immediate family member of the practitioner has a direct or indirect ownership interest if the services provided to the patient are paid for by the Commonwealth. The bill also provides certain exceptions to the prohibition.
