SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act; visible mold remediation. Provides that where there is visible evidence of mold in a dwelling unit, the landlord shall promptly remediate the mold conditions in accordance with the requirements for visible mold remediation and reinspect the dwelling unit to confirm that there is no longer any visible evidence of mold in the dwelling unit. The bill requires the landlord to make available to the tenant copies of any available written information related to the remediation of mold.
