3. That the provisions of this act amending §§ 38.2-2201 and 38.2-2202 shall become effective on January 1, 2016.

4. That the Fire Services Board and the Emergency Medical Services Board shall jointly develop recommendations related to the general supervision and control of all participating fire companies and departments and emergency medical services agencies when one or more fire companies or departments and one or more emergency medical services agencies are called to provide joint services in any district or political subdivision, and shall report such recommendations to the General Assembly by December 1, 2015.
