SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

General district courts; days of operation. Provides that the clerk's office of every district court shall be kept open for the transaction of business on every day except Saturday, Sunday, and the statewide legal holidays designated in the Code of Virginia. Currently the days of operation are set by the Committee on District Courts.
