SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Special license plates; armed forces. Allows disabled veterans who have been honorably discharged to receive special license plates that are already developed for certain branches of the United States armed forces. The bill also makes a technical change by moving the Coast Guard plate from an Act of Assembly to the Code of Virginia and removes authorization for issuance of special license plates that were authorized in 2013 but did not meet minimum order requirements. This bill is identical to SB 135.

Special license plates; US Navy and Air Force. Repeals authorization for issuance of special license plates to members and former members of the US Navy and Air Force. These plates were authorized in 2013, but did not meet minimum order requirements.
