SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Reckless driving; speeding. Provides that a person charged with reckless driving for speeding (driving 20 or more miles per hour in excess of the speed limit or in excess of 80 miles per hour regardless of the speed limit), which is punishable as a Class 1 misdemeanor, may be found guilty of speeding, a traffic infraction, in the discretion of the court or the jury.
