Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The Board of Education shall review the Standards of Learning assessments and develop a plan to reduce, by the 2015-2016 school year, the number of such assessments by at least 25 percent. The Board shall report its findings and recommendations to the General Assembly and the Governor no later than October 1, 2014.
