CHAPTER 582 An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 2.2-401.01, relating to the Secretary of the Commonwealth; liaison to Virginia Indian tribes. [H 903] Approved April 4, 2014

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 2.2-401.01 as follows:

§ 2.2-401.01. Liaison to Virginia Indian tribes.

The Secretary of the Commonwealth shall:

1. Serve as the Governor's liaison to the Virginia Indian tribes; and

2. Report annually on the status of Indian tribes in Virginia.
