3. That the provisions of this act shall not become effective unless reenacted by the 2015 Session of the General Assembly.
4. That no later than January 1, 2015, the Department of Education shall make recommendations to the Chairman of the House Committee on Education and the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Education and Health regarding the appropriate treatment of other significant cultural issues in textbooks approved by the Board of Education, including due acknowledgement of cultural contributions by African Americans, Virginia Indians, and other groups.
