SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Expansion of Medicaid. Expands the class of Medicaid recipients in Virginia to include those meeting the criteria in the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Such expansion would expire if federal financial participation for the expanded population is reduced below 90 percent. The bill also authorizes the Department of Medical Assistance Services to seek federal authorization to reform the Medicaid service delivery model in Virginia.
