SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Statewide Fire Prevention Code; permissible fireworks. Redefines what constitutes permissible fireworks in Virginia, also known as consumer fireworks, to be ground or hand-held sparkling devices as defined in §§ 3.1.1, 3.2, and 3.5 of the 2001 Edition of the American Pyrotechnic Association's Standard for Construction and Approval for Transportation of Fireworks, Novelties, and Theatrical Pyrotechnics.
