SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Constitutional amendment (first resolution); legislative sessions; term of Governor. Requires the General Assembly, beginning in 2017 and every fourth year thereafter, to adjourn its regular session for a period of 30 days after organizing but before conducting any business in order to allow the newly elected Governor to commence his term of office before the General Assembly begins to take up the business of the Commonwealth.
