SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)

Coal and Gas Road Improvement Fund; construction of natural gas service lines. Allows a locality in the Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority to apply a portion of its Coal and Gas Road Improvement Fund tax revenue collected from the severance tax imposed upon the severance of natural gas to the construction of natural gas service lines. Under current law, the locality is permitted to apply a portion of the revenue to the construction or enhancement of water or sewer systems or lines.
