SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Public-Private Transportation Act; definition of transportation facility; port facility excluded. Removes port facility from the definition of "transportation facility" under the Public-Private Transportation Act. The bill also provides that the Virginia Port Authority is not included in the definition of "public entity" or "responsible public entity" under the Public-Private Transportation Act. As a result, the Virginia Port Authority can no longer avail itself of the provisions of the Public-Private Transportation Act.
