SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Certified nutrient management planners. Directs the Department of Conservation and Recreation to adopt regulations stating that the certification of nutrient management planners has no effect on the rights or qualifications of licensed architects, professional engineers, land surveyors, or landscape architects and does not qualify such planners to practice the profession of engineering. The Department is also directed to accept the qualifications of a licensed architect, professional engineer, land surveyor, or landscape architect as meeting the current certification requirement, found in Department regulations, of a combination of nutrient management-related educational courses and three years of practical experience related to nutrient management planning.
