HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 842 Offered February 7, 2013 Celebrating the life of Rhys Tyler Ritter. ---------- Patron-- Helsel ----------

WHEREAS, Rhys Tyler Ritter, a great friend to many in the City of Poquoson, died on December 14, 2012; and

WHEREAS, born in San Antonio, Texas, Rhys Ritter lived in the City of Poquoson for 10 years; and

WHEREAS, a senior at Poquoson High School, Rhys Ritter was a member of the Poquoson High School lacrosse team and displayed a passionate commitment to the game; and

WHEREAS, known for his love of music, Rhys Ritter was a member of the Poquoson High School Chorus; and

WHEREAS, a delightful friend to his fellow students and a polite neighbor, Rhys Ritter was easy to get along with and always quick to offer a friendly smile or greeting; and

WHEREAS, a young man of exceptional character, Rhys Ritter will be greatly missed by the Poquoson community; and

WHEREAS, Rhys Ritter is lovingly remembered by his parents, Krysia and Todd; siblings, Marysia, Ramsey, and Riley; and many other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby note with great sadness the loss of Rhys Tyler Ritter, an outstanding member of the Poquoson community; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Rhys Tyler Ritter as an expression of the General Assembly’s respect for his memory.
