13103319DWHEREAS, Robert Ferrell Mothershead, a beloved, lifelong Westmoreland County resident, died on June 27, 2012; and
WHEREAS, a hardworking businessman, Robert Mothershead had formerly served his community as owner of Farmers Supply Store, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, involved in several service organizations, Robert Mothershead was a member of the Westmoreland Ruritan Club, the Acca Temple of Richmond, and Westmoreland Lodge 212 and Warsaw-Bauman Lodge 332 of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons; and
WHEREAS, a member of Ephesus Christian Church in Foneswood, Robert Mothershead enjoyed fellowship and worship with the community; and
WHEREAS, Robert Mothershead was a kind, caring husband that supported his wife during breast cancer treatments, then became active with her in the local Relay for Life rallies; and
WHEREAS, known throughout the Northern Neck, Robert Mothershead is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife, Peggy; children Robby and Joan, and their families; and many other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby note with great sadness the loss of an active, respected member of the Montross community, Robert Ferrell Mothershead; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Robert Ferrell Mothershead as an expression of the General Assembly’s respect for his memory.
