WHEREAS, CACI International Inc. will celebrate in 2012 its 50th anniversary of providing essential services and solutions in support of America’s most vital missions; and
WHEREAS, founded by Herb Karr and Harry Markowitz, CACI International Inc. began operations on a park bench in 1962 as California Analysis Center, Inc., supporting and training users on a public domain software language; and
WHEREAS, over the decades, CACI International Inc. has remained at the top of its field by identifying the most promising technologies and markets in computer and information technology, network services, enterprisewide solutions, and intelligence support; and
WHEREAS, committed to quality client service and best value, CACI International Inc. provides exceptional professional services and IT solutions in the areas of defense, intelligence, homeland security, and IT modernization and government transformation; and
WHEREAS, CACI International Inc. achievements include communications systems for intelligence sharing, sensor networks that detect improvised explosive devices, logistics solutions for Armed Force readiness, business systems that enhance productivity, and the provision of portable communications equipment during natural disasters; and

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend CACI International Inc. on the occasion of its 50th anniversary; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Paul Cofoni, President and CEO of CACI International Inc., as an expression of the General Assembly’s congratulations and best wishes for continued success.
