Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 2 of Chapter 1 of Title 64.2 a section numbered 64.2-109 as follows:

§ 64.2-109. Power granted to personal representatives to take control of digital accounts.

Personal representatives, whether heretofore or hereafter appointed, are hereby granted the power to take control of, conduct, continue, or terminate any account of a decedent on any social networking website, microblogging or short message service website, or electronic mail service website.
