SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:

Urban development areas.  Makes incorporation of urban development areas optional rather than mandatory. The bill also makes technical amendments. This bill incorporates SB 291 and is identical to HB 869.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Urban development areas.  Makes incorporation of urban development areas optional rather than mandatory. Any locality that has previously adopted urban development areas may, and upon voter petition shall, reconsider such action.
