SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Opening of the school year in certain school divisions.  Authorizes the school boards of the City of Martinsville, Henry County, and Pittsylvania County school divisions to set the opening of the school year so that the first day students are required to attend school is prior to Labor Day.
