SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Virginia Property Owners' Association Act; board of directors; duty of care; enforcement of rules. Establishes a duty of care for officers and members of the board of directors. The bill also authorizes a board to increase the total charges that may be assessed in the case of a member's continuing failure to comply with architectural guidelines pertaining to the renovation or expansion of a structure to an amount equal to 20 percent of the increase in the value resulting from the renovation or expansion.
