SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Regional emergency services councils; plan requirements related to crime victims. Removes language requiring regional emergency services councils to include a provision requiring that the Department of Criminal Justice Services and the Virginia Criminal Injuries Compensation Fund be contacted immediately to deploy assistance in the event of an emergency when there are victims as defined in the Crime Victim and Witness Rights Act (§ 19.2-11.01 et seq.). This bill was incorporated into HB 352.
