Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 46.2-878.2:1 as follows:

§ 46.2-878.2:1. Maximum speed limit on Huguenot Memorial Bridge in City of Richmond.

Notwithstanding any contrary provision of law, the maximum speed limit on the Huguenot Memorial Bridge, Virginia Route 147 across the James River in the City of Richmond, shall be 35 miles per hour.
