SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Tax credit for hiring recipients of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families. Provides that the tax credit would be issued on a fiscal year basis and that no more than $3 million in tax credits would be issued in any fiscal year of the Commonwealth. The bill charges the Department of Taxation with administering the tax credit.
Under current law, the amount of tax credits that may be issued in a fiscal year is subject to the general appropriation act.
