SUMMARY AS ENACTED WITH GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATION:

Stoking of game animals and fish.  Requires that policies to acquire and introduce any new species of game birds, game animals, or fish on the lands are implemented only with the authorization and cooperation of affected local governments. This bill is identical to HB 2176 (Phillips).

Board of Game and Inland Fisheries; powers and duties; consent of local governments.  Requires that policies to acquire and introduce any new species of game birds, game animals, or fish on the lands are implemented only with the authorization and cooperation of affected local governments.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Board of Game and Inland Fisheries; powers and duties; consent of local governments.  Requires that policies to acquire and introduce any new species of game birds, game animals, or fish on the lands or to restock, replenish, and increase any depleted native species of game birds, game animals, or fish are implemented only with the authorization and cooperation of affected local governments. The Board is also authorized to relocate nuisance species of birds or animals, provided that such actions are in cooperation with any affected local government.
