SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Lien for water and sewer charges and taxes imposed by localities.  Expands the authority localities have to impose liens against real estate served by the locality's waterline or sewer for unpaid taxes and charges. This legislation grants localities the same authority water and sewer authorities have in placing liens against owners, lessees or tenants of property and ranks the lien on a parity with liens for unpaid real estate taxes.
