SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Leaves of absence; General Assembly members.  Provides that all officers and employees of the Commonwealth, or of any political subdivision of the Commonwealth, who are members of the General Assembly shall be entitled to unpaid leaves of absence from their respective duties without loss of seniority, accrued leave or job performance rating on all days during which the General Assembly is in Session or during which a member is conducting official duties related to service in the General Assembly.  A member of the General Assembly shall not be denied reemployment, retention in employment, promotion, or any benefit of employment by such employer solely on the basis of service in the General Assembly.
