SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Supervision and control of wiretap devices. Allows wiretap devices in the possession of any sheriff's office or police department to be under the direct control and supervision of a designee of the sheriff or chief of police.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Supervision and control of wiretap devices. Specifies that wiretap devices in the possession of any sheriff's office or police department shall be under the control and supervision of the sheriff or chief of police and not under his “direct” control.
