HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 985 Offered February 25, 2011 Amending Rule 19 of House Joint Resolution No. 567, as amended by House Joint Resolution No. 982, of the 2011 Regular Session of the General Assembly of Virginia, relating to the deadline for the first conference on the Budget Bill. ---------- Patron-- Cox, M.K. ----------

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That Rule 19 of House Joint Resolution No. 567, as amended by House Joint Resolution No. 982, of the 2011 Regular Session of the General Assembly of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

Rule 19. The first conference on the Budget Bill shall complete its deliberations no later than midnight noon, Thursday Saturday, February 24 26, 2011, and the report of such conference shall be made available to all members of the General Assembly as soon thereafter as practicable. No engrossment of the Budget Bill shall be required in either house, and any conference on the Budget Bill shall consider, as the basis of its deliberations, the Budget Bill as recommended by the Governor and introduced in the House and the amendments thereto proposed by each house.
