11103981DBe it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended in Chapter 13 Section 58.1-439.18 of Title 58.1 and Chapter 43 Section 2.2-4301 of Title 2.2, as follows:
“Professional services” means any type of personal service to the public that requires as a condition precedent to the rendering of such service the obtaining of a license or other legal authorization and shall include, but shall not be limited to, the personal services rendered by medical doctors, dentists, architects, professional engineers, certified public accountants, attorneys-at-law, mediators certified pursuant to guidelines promulgated by the Judicial Council of Virginia, and veterinarians.
