Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  § 1. That the State Corporation Commission shall not collect any filing fee, charter fee, or entrance fee for filing the following documents pursuant to (i) the Virginia Stock Corporation Act (§ 13.1-601 et seq. of the Code of Virginia), articles of incorporation for a Virginia stock corporation or an application for a certificate of authority to transact business in Virginia by a foreign stock corporation; (ii) the Virginia Nonstock Corporation Act (§ 13.1-801 et seq. of the Code of Virginia), articles of incorporation for a Virginia nonstock corporation or an application for a certificate of authority to transact business in Virginia by a foreign nonstock corporation; (iii) the Virginia Limited Liability Company Act (§ 13.1-1000 et seq. of the Code of Virginia), articles of organization for a Virginia limited liability company or an application for a certificate of registration to transact business in Virginia by a foreign limited liability company; or (iv) the Virginia Revised Uniform Limited Partnership Act (§ 50-73.1 et seq. of the Code of Virginia), a certificate of limited partnership for a Virginia limited partnership or an application for a certificate of registration to transact business in Virginia by a foreign limited partnership.

2.  That an emergency exists and this act is in force 21 days from its passage.

3.  That the provisions of this act shall expire on July 1, 2012.
