CHAPTER 490 An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding in Article 1 of Chapter 29 of Title 54.1 a section numbered 54.1-2910.3, relating to requirements for a license to practice medicine. [H 2218] Approved March 24, 2011

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 1 of Chapter 29 of Title 54.1 a section numbered 54.1-2910.3 as follows:

§ 54.1-2910.3. No requirement to participate in third-party reimbursement programs.

No provider licensed pursuant to this chapter shall be required to participate in any public or private third-party reimbursement program as a condition of licensure.
