CHAPTER 468 An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 54.1-2952.2, relating to physician assistants; when signature accepted. [H 1968] Approved March 24, 2011

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 54.1-2952.2 as follows:

§ 54.1-2952.2. When physician assistant signature accepted.

Whenever any law or regulation requires a signature, certification, stamp, verification, affidavit, or endorsement by a physician, it shall be deemed to include a signature, certification, stamp, verification, affidavit, or endorsement by a physician assistant.
