SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation; power and duties with respect to boxing, wrestling, and martial arts events. Clarifies the authority of the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation to impose monetary penalties and enter into consent agreements related to investigations and disciplinary proceedings for the boxing, wrestling, and martial arts regulatory program. In doing so the bill conforms the powers and duties of the agency for the boxing, wrestling, and martial arts regulatory program to the powers and duties held by the agency for other regulatory programs that it administers.
