SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Enjoining violations of consumer laws.  Authorizes the Office of Consumer Affairs to refer matters involving illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or dangerous practices to the Attorney General, and to request the Office of the Attorney General to investigate such matter. The measure further authorizes the Office of the Attorney General, upon receipt of such a referral from the Office of Consumer Affairs, to investigate the practice and to bring an action to enjoin a violation of law.
