Introduced by: Phillip P. Puckett | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE: (all summaries)
Communications sales and use tax; Tazewell County. Provides that Tazewell County's share of communications sales and use tax revenue be equal to the distributions it would have received if the Auditor of Public Accounts had certified that the County had received $650,507 of telecommunications and television cable funds in fiscal year 2006. The bill also (i) changes the baseline for determining each locality's proportionate share of revenue from 2006 to 2010, and (ii) permits the Tax Commissioner to make administrative adjustments to any locality's allocation of such revenues in certain circumstances, up to a maximum of $100,000.
