SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Absentee voters; central absentee voting precinct. Provides that a voter, who has applied for but did not receive or has lost an absentee ballot or who returns an unused or accidently spoiled absentee ballot, shall be allowed to vote on election day at his proper polling place or at a central absentee voter precinct for his county or city.
SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:
Absentee voters; central absentee voting precinct. Provides that a voter, who has applied for but did not receive or has lost an absentee ballot or who returns an unused or accidently spoiled absentee ballot, shall be allowed to vote on election day at his precinct or proper polling place or at a central absentee voter precinct for his county or city.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Absentee voters; central absentee voting precinct. Provides that no voter who has applied for and has received or been sent an absentee ballot, but who has not voted absentee, and who offers to vote on election day at his precinct or proper polling place shall be required to vote at the central absentee voter precinct. Such a voter is permitted, however, to vote at the central absentee voting precinct.
