SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Department of Social Services; retention of records. Requires local departments of social services to keep all records from cases involving child sexual abuse involving injuries or conditions that result in or were likely to have resulted in serious harm to a child for a period of 25 years from the date of the complaint.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Department of Social Services; retention of records. Provides that all records of the Board of Social Services, Department of Social Services, local boards of social services and local departments of social services shall be retained for at least 25 years.
