SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Exception to confidentiality of juvenile records; fugitives and escapees. Allows for the release of identifying information of a juvenile who is charged with or convicted of any misdemeanor or felony and is a fugitive from justice or an escapee. Currently, only juveniles charged with or convicted of certain serious offenses (e.g., murder, rape, robbery) may have identifying information released once they become a fugitive or escapee.
