SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Virginia Retirement System; withdrawal of member contributions. Requires a member of the Virginia Retirement System to be vested before being eligible to withdraw that portion of his accumulated contributions made by his employer on his behalf subsequent to July 1, 2010.
SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Virginia Retirement System; withdrawal of member contributions. Requires a member of the Virginia Retirement System to be vested before being eligible to withdraw that portion of his accumulated contributions made by his employer on his behalf prior to July 1, 2010, when he ceases employment. Employer contributions made on and after July 1, 2010, may not be withdrawn.
