SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Collection of social security numbers. Clarifies that no state or local agency may collect a social security number from an individual unless (i) the collection is required by state or federal law or (ii) the collection is imperative for the performance of that agency's duties and responsibilities as prescribed by law. The bill also makes technical changes.
