SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Land use regulations; lending activities. Authorizes a locality to adopt an ordinance requiring that a special exception or a special use permit be obtained before a payday lender makes a payday loan from a location within the locality. The measure also allows a locality to adopt such an ordinance applicable to persons, other than certain licensed lenders and sellers, making certain unregulated revolving loans, including title loans. These authorizations shall not limit any existing authority of a locality.
