SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Suspected adult abuse; mandatory reporting. Requires any person employed in the emergency department of any private or state-operated hospital to report to Adult Protective Services when an adult is treated for serious bodily injury and the adult is unable to explain the cause of his injuries due to physical or mental incapacity.
