SENATE BILL NO. 538 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the Senate Committee on Education and Health) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Senator Newman) Senate Amendments in [ ] -- February 12, 2010 A BILL to require the presence of a licensed physician at all times for any certified skilled nursing beds in any state training center.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services shall  [ promulgate regulations requiring require  ]  a licensed physician to be on duty at all times for any certified skilled nursing beds in any state training center as defined in § 37.2-100 of the Code of Virginia.
