Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 63.2-105.1 as follows:

§ 63.2-105.1. Retention of records.

All records, information and statistical registries of the Board, Department, local boards, and local departments that pertain to public assistance, child support enforcement, or other social services shall be retained by the Board, Department, local boards, and local departments for a period of at least 25 years, in a manner prescribed in regulations by the Board.
