10102747DBe it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 24.2-669.1 as follows:
§ 24.2-669.1. Unauthorized copying of ballots.
Except in response to a court order explicitly requiring otherwise, no person shall reproduce, copy, or photograph any ballot that has been cast in an election. In the event of a court order requiring reproductions of ballots, only the clerk who is the authorized custodian of ballots pursuant to § 24.2-669, or his chief deputy, may reproduce or copy the ballots.
