CHAPTER 662 An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 2.2-703.2, relating to the Department for the Aging; universal design and visitability features. [S 262] Approved April 12, 2010

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 2.2-703.2 as follows:

§ 2.2-703.2. Powers and duties of Department relating to universal design and visitability features.

The Department shall publicize guidelines on universal design and visitability features to make structures and dwellings accessible for older Virginians and people who develop mobility impairment. Such guidelines shall be disseminated to the public and posted on the Department's website.
