CHAPTER 286 An Act to amend and reenact § 2.2-1150.1 of the Code of Virginia, relating to proceeds from sale or lease of State Police communication towers or sites. [H 1107] Approved April 8, 2010

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 2.2-1150.1 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 2.2-1150.1. Lease or conveyance of any interest in State Police communication tower.

In-kind Proceeds and any in-kind goods or services received from lease agreements all sales or leases or conveyances of any interest in Department of State Police communication towers received pursuant to §§ 2.2-1150.2 and, 2.2-1151, and 2.2-1156, above the costs of the transaction, shall be retained by the department pursuant to § 2.2-1150 and used in the operation, acquisition, maintenance, construction or replacement of communication towers and systems of the department. The provisions of § 2.2-1156 as they apply to lease agreements or conveyances of any interest shall not apply to any transaction undertaken pursuant to this section deposited into a special account of the Department of State Police to be used to operate, acquire, construct, maintain, repair, or replace communication towers or sites.
